I have been a little delayed in writing anything lately because things have been so busy. Carter had his two month "birthday" on the 21st and we went to the doctor. He had to have his first real round of shots and it was pure torture for me. He weighed 12 pounds 10 ounces which is in the 75th percent for his age. The real kicker is that he is 24 1/2 inches tall/long which is in the 93rd percent...meaning I have somehow had a tall kid. Carter was deemed perfectly healthy except that he hated getting his shots. Carter is smiling all of the time now and is so much more interactive than a month ago. More and more of Carter's personality shows everyday and it is so fun to get to know him. Carter is getting into more of a routine and we are all adjusting to me going back to work. We have survived my first week back and seem to have a sort of method to address the madness that is being working parents. It was hard to leave Carter, but thank goodness he is getting to stay with his grandmothers while I work.
